Built for longer backpacking trips and treks, this pack benefits our VariClick system and two anchor positions for the stabilizer straps allow for tailored back length adjustment. The ActiveBalance shoulder straps move with your body and, combined with the VariFlex hip fin system, result in excellent carrying comfort. The hip fins distribute the weight evenly, and the external aluminum Y-frame increases stability and, together with the Air Spacer mesh, allows for effective airflow. This product has been manufactured by deuter without the use of per- and polyfluorinated chemicals with the aim of reducing reliance on substances that are harmful to the environment and health.

PFAS are used, among other things, as a waterproofing finish due to their water, dirt and grease-repellent properties.

deuter now uses an environmentally friendly DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish that is harmless to human and animal health.
